Gretchen Rubin

Refining an acclaimed writer’s website and brand. Best-selling author Gretchen Rubin, one of today’s most influential and thought-provoking observers of happiness and human nature, approached Global Prairie to redesign her most important brand touchpoint–her website.   Global Prairie redesigned, rebuilt, and reintroduced gretchenrubin.com, featuring a new site structure, content, logo, and navigation. In tandem, we created a refined strategy and approach that helped establish a more engaging presence for Gretchen and her personal brand.  We gave Gretchen's logo an intentionally writerly feel using a classic font found frequently in print.   We also leaned into her expertise with surprise and delight: we hid a bluebird in her wordmark, a symbol of happiness with deep personal meaning for Gretchen.
